Overview In this executive role within the Magenta Service Center, you lead Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting, ensuring timely, accurate close and compliant financial reporting. Responsibilities- Lead accounting leadership for fixed asset and lease accounting and monthly close.
- Ensure close deadlines are met and financial results reflect operational changes.
- Communicate financial results to internal customers and maintain GAAP/IFRS compliance.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls including SOX requirements.
- Lead implementation of new/modified accounting policies for efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with operational teams to understand business/process changes affecting financials.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to identify accounting implications and impacts.
- Hire, coach, and develop a high-caliber accounting team and manage budgets and staffing plans.
Key requirements- Minimum 12 years of progressive accounting experience
- Minimum 7 years of people management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree preferred
- CPA preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Travel: No (as stated)
- Experience with Fixed Asset and Lease accounting systems and subledgers
