Overview

As an Associate Recruiting Specialist, you will help drive the firm's early talent strategy from the Orange County office. You will support summer programs, entry-level hiring, and campus outreach, building strong law-school relationships. You'll help manage interviews, onboarding communications, and compliance while contributing to recruiting marketing and reporting. This role offers cross-functional collaboration and leadership exposure, with a hybrid work option. You will play a key part in shaping the firm's talent pipeline and campus presence.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts for summer program, entry-level hiring, and campus outreach; support interviews, maintain records, and manage onboarding communications
  • Build and nurture relationships with target law schools, career services, and student organizations; represent the firm at events to enhance visibility
  • Support compliance by tracking legislation and best practices; help develop and monitor recruiting budgets
  • Collaborate with team to implement marketing/promotional strategies and provide recruitment statistics/reports
  • Develop foundational management skills by supervising coordinators/assistants and assisting with peak staffing
  • Protect confidential, privileged, and sensitive information across recruiting activities
Key requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information discreetly
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage time, priorities, deadlines, and complex problems independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office and applicant tracking systems; ability to supervise teams to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Bachelor's degree; minimum five years in legal recruitment or professional services; cumulative experience also five years
