Overview

In this role, you partner with hiring managers to elevate MIT's recruitment practices and capacity. You will educate stakeholders on best practices, legal interviewing, and ATS usage, while designing scalable pipelines and training resources. You'll serve as a trusted advisor on strategies, processes, and policies, and help build pipelines and campaigns across the organization. The role blends instructional design, sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration to broaden talent pools and improve hiring outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape MIT's talent acquisition approach and impact across disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training on hiring best practices and legal recruiting requirements
  • Develop scalable pipelines for key roles and build TA processes and infrastructure
  • Serve as trusted advisor to hiring managers on recruiting strategies and policies
  • Develop hiring manager toolkits, interview guides, and job aids
  • Design and execute sourcing strategies and advertising campaigns
  • Build broad pipelines using multiple sourcing channels
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops on recruiting tools and practices
  • Create self-paced online learning modules and recorded training content
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, education, or related field
  • min 5 years in talent acquisition, HR, or training
  • experience developing recruiting strategies, talent pipelines, or hiring processes
  • strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment law, and compliant hiring
  • experience designing and delivering training (in-person, virtual, hybrid)
  • experience consulting with hiring managers on recruiting strategies
  • strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate, and build relationships with urgency
  • ability to learn and adapt to new HR technologies and systems
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite
