Overview As Platform Architect you will shape an enterprise-grade, reusable platform across engineering, infrastructure, data, and security. You'll articulate a clear platform vision, drive platform-first thinking, and influence senior leaders without formal authority. You'll design AWS-based patterns, landing zones, and scalable services that prevent tool fragmentation and accelerate development at scale. Responsibilities- Define the enterprise platform vision across developer experience, cloud infrastructure, data services, and AI capabilities
- Design shared services with standard interfaces and reusable components, aligning with security and compliance
- Evolve the developer platform experience including CI/CD, environment provisioning, and automation
- Lead AWS-centric platform leadership with landing zone design and account/VPC patterns
- Enable AI-driven applications with scalable platform services and governed integrations
- Provide cost-aware architectural guidance and partner with FinOps to optimize platform spend
- Influence across engineering, infrastructure, data, and security without direct delivery authority
- Measure success by platform adoption, reduced redundant tools, faster environments, and cost efficiency
Key requirements- 15+ years in platform or enterprise architecture
- Deep hands-on AWS experience including landing zones and cloud-native patterns
- Strong CI/CD, developer platform design, and DevEx tooling experience
- Familiarity with data platform concepts (environment data management, masking, synthetic data)
- Experience with AI/ML infra and AWS agentic patterns
- Proven ability to influence large, matrixed organizations without direct authority
- Executive-level communication and storytelling skills for architecture reviews and leadership discussions
