Overview In this role you will oversee the Rock Hill facility to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement and asset utilization. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage budgets and capital projects, and partner with commercial and technical teams to meet production and quality goals. The position emphasizes safety, ethics, and operational excellence within a global manufacturing context. You will shape site performance and culture through coaching, accountability, and strategic leadership.
Responsibilities- Lead safe and environmentally responsible operation of the Rock Hill facility
- Ensure compliance with Huntsman standards and applicable regulations
- Serve as Ethics and Compliance Officer and uphold Business Conduct Guidelines
- Manage site security programs and contractor performance
- Develop and manage the site's annual fixed cost budget
- Oversee capital projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence
- Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to achieve production and quality objectives
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance safety, compliance, productivity, and asset utilization
- Set performance objectives for site personnel and provide coaching and performance feedback
- Build and lead a high-performing team and foster accountability and operational excellence
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Sciences, Business, or related technical field
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing/operations/industrial leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years in a formal leadership or management role
- Experience managing plant/facility operations including safety, production, quality, and maintenance
- Experience managing large operating budgets and financial performance
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
