Responsibilities- Assume overall responsibility for planning, execution, and completion of healthcare assurance engagements (audits, reviews, compilations)
- Manage engagement workflows to minimize risk, ensure quality, and meet deadlines
- Lead engagement planning (staffing, risk assessment, materiality, audit approach) with healthcare risk focus
- Review workpapers and reports for GAAP/GAAS compliance and healthcare regulatory standards
- Apply advanced GAAP/GAAS knowledge as it relates to healthcare (revenue, third-party reimbursement, patient receivables, cost reporting, internal controls)
- Provide coaching and career guidance to supervisors and staff
- Monitor budgets vs. actuals and manage engagement profitability
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Active CPA license
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
