Overview In this role you will lead the end to end design and delivery of Global Methodology learning for Internal Audit, ensuring capability and future readiness across regions. You will shape the Global Methodology program and align content with IIA standards and regulatory expectations. You will partner with global L&D leaders to embed the program in a cohesive learning strategy and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities- Act as SME for Methodology, Core Audit Skills, and enabling technologies, ensuring global content quality and consistency.
- Design, develop, and maintain methodology-based learning content, standards, and procedures in line with governance and audit execution.
- Lead evolution of Global Methodology learning program aligned with Global IIA standards and competency frameworks.
- Collaborate with Global L&D strategy to embed the program within a cohesive learning approach and maintain ownership of content.
- Work with Global Methodology team to keep content current with methodology changes and audit practices, translating updates into scalable learning interventions.
- Identify capability gaps and deliver targeted, methodology-driven learning to strengthen audit execution and leadership globally.
- Incorporate regulatory and emerging risk considerations into curricula for consistent cross-jurisdiction understanding.
- Support certification attainment by aligning content with relevant bodies and reinforcing core competencies.
- Use learning and performance data to assess impact and drive improvement of methodology-related content.
Key requirements- Minimum 10 years of internal or external audit experience in financial services.
- Experience in a large, global, matrixed organization with recent work in internal audit methodology and industry standards (e.g., IIA).
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in risk assessment, audit methodology, and execution.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory environment.
- Strong project management and continuous process improvement skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build credibility and trust across the organization.
