Overview In this role you will lead underground wet utility construction projects in urban streets, overseeing delivery up to $10M in scope. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure profitable, safe, and compliant project outcomes. You'll manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, and cultivate long-term client partnerships. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in a focused civil construction environment.

Responsibilities- Read and interpret plans, specs, permits, and contracts to guide project delivery
- Forecast revenue and costs to ensure profitability and assess risk
- Collaborate with estimators on budgeting and bid understanding
- Coordinate field superintendents to establish schedule and resource needs
- Price minor change orders and manage subcontracts and suppliers
- Build and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business
- Manage multiple small-to-mid-size projects across clients
- Ensure safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met and documented
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or directly related underground construction experience)
- Minimum of three (3) years of underground wet utilities experience as a contractor
- Knowledge of water, sewer, storm drain, trench paving, and related construction practices
- Understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues
- Strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
