Overview In this role you will lead the organization's HR operations and serve as the primary HR contact to employees and managers. You'll translate people strategy into clear processes, ensure compliance, and manage a hands-on range of HR tasks from payroll to talent onboarding. You will partner with leadership to drive improvements, mitigate risks, and support an engaged, service-oriented workforce. Responsibilities- Serve as day-to-day HR lead for employees and managers
- Maintain HR calendar and oversee payroll, benefits, and compliance activities
- Administer Paycom data, workflows, and reporting; support payroll-related needs
- Manage benefits and retirement plan administration and communications
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding; ensure compliant candidate experience
- Advise on routine HR matters and escalate complex issues to EVP, Operations
- Coordinate employee engagement, performance cycles, and HR initiatives
- Ensure up-to-date job descriptions and maintain confidential employee files and training records
Key requirements- 8-10 years of progressive HR experience including payroll, HRIS, benefits, recruitment, leave administration, and compliance
- Experience advising managers and applying HR policies to workplace situations
- nonprofit or mission-driven organization experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, benefits, and employment law
- Paycom experience strongly preferred
