Overview As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance team to keep equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently. You'll drive preventive and corrective maintenance, support production uptime, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You'll coordinate schedules, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards to optimize plant performance. This role sits at the heart of operations, enabling cross-functional collaboration and reliable manufacturing outcomes.
Responsibilities- Lead and schedule a maintenance team to support production needs
- Oversee preventive maintenance program, testing and repair of systems and equipment
- Coordinate maintenance activities and manage staffing and work orders
- Support quality, production, safety, and DOS programs
- Manage skilled trades and plant services for 100+ employees
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and general maintenance standards
- Monitor attendance, maintain discipline, and keep timekeeping records
- Ensure all equipment is in safe working order and compliant with regulations
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of applicable experience
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance supervision or similar role
- Experience managing a multi-trade maintenance department
- Ability to work off shift, overtime, and weekends as required
- Travel for education, training, and plant representation
