Overview In this role you will design HVAC systems for heavy industrial clients as part of Jacobs' Building Mechanical team. You will translate client needs into layouts, calculations, and construction packages while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. The position emphasizes delivering cost-effective, transformative HVAC solutions and maintaining technical quality on schedule. This is a hybrid, client-facing role with opportunities to influence project outcomes and company success.

Responsibilities- Layout and design of HVAC systems
- Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents with sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, and general arrangements
- Produce final construction documents for HVAC systems (e.g., chilled water, cooling water)
- Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders
- Perform field investigations and interface with clients and vendors
- Size and select equipment and prepare design packages
- Manage schedule and technical quality to meet client expectations and project constraints
Key requirements- At least ten (10) years' experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities
- Proficiency in Revit
- Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design
- Adaptability to fast-paced team environments with multiple deadlines
