Overview In this role you will support Oracle Cloud Cost Management and oversee cost accounting configurations and end-of-period routines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate subledger mappings, reporting, and post-production hypercare. You'll drive problem solving for costing and SLA integration, and lead quarterly validation and patch activity. This position offers impact on cost processes and financial orchestration within Oracle Fusion. You will shape and optimize cloud cost management in a dynamic software environment.
Responsibilities- Provide L1 support for Oracle Cloud Cost Management including Inventory Costing, Receipt accounting and SCM financial orchestration
- Configure cost management mappings, subledger accounting rules, and accounting distributions
- Deliver post-production support and hypercare, create and manage custom reports using Oracle tools
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and coordinate quarterly configuration and patch validations/testing
- Manage agile data migration processes (FBDI, ADFDI) and ensure successful period close activities
- Analyze and prioritize support requests related to Cost Management, inventory transactions, and customizations
- Triage issues related to custom reports and manage incidents and knowledge base articles
Key requirements- 5+ years with Oracle Fusion Cost Management, Inventory, and integrations with Payables/Receivables and SCM
- Knowledge of costing methods (Standard, Average, FIFO, LIFO) and SLA integration with financials
- Proficiency in Inventory Valuation, WIP and BOM costing
- Experience with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL including query writing and optimization
- Understanding of Oracle costing table structures and relationships; ability to debug PL/SQL for costing issues
- Experience with period close processes and reconciliation
