Overview In this role you will drive profitability and growth for Fulton's commercial banking segment by building and managing CRE client relationships with $25-$100M in revenue. You work closely with cross-functional partners to cross-sell deposit, loan and service products while leveraging market knowledge and risk discipline. You will lead complex lending opportunities, maintain client continuity, and expand the bank's community presence. This is a high-impact role focused on relationship-driven revenue and risk-aware credit decisions.

Responsibilities- Source and develop new lending, deposit and financial service opportunities; articulate Fulton's value proposition to clients
- Manage end-to-end loan processes from sourcing to closing, including underwriting and documentation
- Maintain ongoing client relationships, perform annual reviews, and identify future financial needs
- Balance client goals with risk considerations using finance and credit knowledge
- Cultivate long-term relationships with a broad network of strategic partners across the region
- Stay informed on market trends and commercial products to drive portfolio growth
- Lead and mentor colleagues; collaborate with Retail Relationship Managers and Fulton Partners
- Keep sales platform updated and leverage tools to coordinate client opportunities
- Ensure timely credit reviews, risk rating accuracy, and compliance with regulations
- Contribute to credit decisioning through financial analysis and risk mitigation strategies
- Establish action plans for troubled credits and coordinate with Special Assets as needed
- Foster community involvement and centers of influence to enhance the bank's image
- Provide guidance on compliance programs and risk awareness for the team
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; business management, finance, accounting or similar (required)
- 9+ years in Commercial Credit, Commercial banking, Consumer, or Small Business experience (required)
- 4+ years managing a large, complex portfolio (required)
- Commercial Real Estate lending experience in the local market (required)
- Strong knowledge of diverse businesses, markets, and financial concepts (required)
- Proven ability to establish and grow business relationships (required)
- Self-directed with good judgment and ambiguity handling (required)
- Experience leading strategic initiatives and cross-functional teams with advanced financial analysis (required)
- Strong credit and risk management expertise; proficient in policy and underwriting (required)
