Overview As Category Manager, you will lead indirect spend strategies across assigned categories, partnering with stakeholders to align goals and optimize sourcing. You'll drive supplier relationships, market research, and performance management to achieve YOY improvements. The role emphasizes process standardization, cost optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to support RPM Living's operations and growth. You'll work with Corporate, Area, and Business Units to implement effective category plans and ensure value delivery.

Responsibilities- Own assigned categories with stakeholder management, negotiation, and supplier relations
- Develop category strategies in partnership with business stakeholders across corporate and field units
- Lead process standardization and improvement initiatives to meet business requirements
- Implement supplier performance management programs for continuous improvement and compliance
- Set and achieve YOY goals for categories and collaborate with teams to meet objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned or apparent
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Finance, or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience
- Proficiency with eProcurement systems and advanced MS Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder relationships
- Analytical mindset focusing on cost drivers and total cost of ownership
