Overview In this role you manage subrogation matters for insurer and adjuster clients within a specialized San Diego litigation practice. You will handle a diverse caseload, assess liability, damages, and medical causation, and advance recovery strategies through litigation and negotiations. You collaborate with clients to drive efficient case resolution and contribute to a focused subrogation and civil litigation practice. This position offers 1:1 practice area training and close partnership collaboration to build expertise and impact.

Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of subrogation files from intake to resolution
- Evaluate liability, damages, and medical causation in workplace, vehicle, and tort-based losses
- Draft litigation documents and filings (motions, settlement statements, mediation briefs)
- Conduct discovery, participate in depositions, appearances in court, and mediation
- Communicate with insurance professionals and adjusters on status and strategy
- Analyze connected workers' compensation and civil matters to inform strategy
- Negotiate settlements to maximize recoveries for clients
- Maintain billable work targets while handling an active caseload
