Overview As Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal support to the Illinois Farm Bureau and affiliated companies, shaping guidance on governance, compliance, transactions, employment, and litigation. You'll work across areas such as Agriculture, Banking and Securities, Contracts, Insurance Regulation, and more to support strategic operations. This role offers cross-practice exposure and the chance to influence legal strategy for a major agricultural association and its affiliates. Compensation / Benefits- base pay $100,800-$138,600

Responsibilities- Provide wide-ranging legal services including planning, research, and development of legal advice for Illinois Agricultural Association and affiliated companies
- Review corporate materials and contribute to governance, regulatory, and transactional matters
- Support cross-practice projects across areas like Agriculture, Banking and Securities, Contracts, Insurance Regulation, and Litigation
- Advise on employment law, E-Commerce, IP, Real Estate, Tax and other corporate matters as needed
- Assist with litigation, regulatory issues, and risk management in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Key requirements- Licensed to practice law in the United States
- Ability to obtain Illinois bar admittance (in-house or full) within a year
