Overview

In this role you will lead the strategy and capabilities for P&C actuarial analytics, pricing sophistication, and transformation. You'll shape long-term analytical tooling and cross-functional improvements across P&C Finance, Actuarial, and business partners. You will influence priorities, drive automation, and enhance decision support while building a high-performing, inclusive culture. The position offers an opportunity to influence pricing strategy at scale within a Fortune 100 insurer. You will work with senior leaders to modernize systems and analytics, delivering measurable business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for P&C Finance actuarial analytics and transformation, including automation and system modernization.
  • Align with business leaders, Technology, Enterprise Data Office, and cross-functional partners to prioritize pricing sophistication efforts.
  • Identify tools, data, and resources and consider regulatory and industry practices to drive target returns.
  • Design and implement deep analytical tools, new capabilities, and scalable process improvements to enhance insight, automation, and decision support.
  • Challenge legacy processes, driving workflow, reporting, and system improvements to reduce complexity and speed decision-making.
  • Influence senior leaders on priorities, investments, risks, and change, while leading execution and adoption of strategic initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advanced actuarial methods to inform strategic direction.
  • Foster a strong, inclusive, high-performing culture by developing technical talent and encouraging innovation and accountability.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Key requirements
  • FCAS required
  • Typically ten or more years of financial experience, with 5-8+ years post-FCAS
  • Deep knowledge of finance and pricing processes underlying P&C products
  • Knowledge across a wide variety of P&C products
  • Strong influence, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
