Overview In this role you lead HR practices to foster an employee oriented, high performance culture aligned with business goals. You will collaborate with leadership to shape workforce strategies, drive development, and ensure safety and legal compliance. You'll manage talent processes from onboarding to succession planning while partnering with EHS on safety and workers' compensation matters. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment that values proactive problem solving and continuous improvement. You help build a resilient, skilled workforce that supports PCC's growth and quality commitments.
Responsibilities- Align HR strategies with business goals in partnership with leadership
- Foster positive work environment and resolve employee concerns through investigations and open communication
- Attract, interview, and onboard candidates for plant operations and support roles
- Coordinate training to enhance skills, safety awareness, and leadership
- Develop retention strategies and succession planning
- Support performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans
- Ensure employment law and policy compliance; maintain HR records
- Monitor HR indicators (turnover, absenteeism, training effectiveness) and report on them
- Drive organizational effectiveness through workforce planning and talent strategies
- Coach leadership on goal setting, feedback, and development
- Collaborate with EHS to ensure safety compliance and manage workers' compensation cases
Key requirements- Experience with AAP, compensation, benefits administration, and human capital planning
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, benefits administration, and rewards programs
- Proven ability to execute action plans and drive results
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
