Overview In this Financial Analyst role, you will drive performance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decisions for AIR Communities. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners and provide actionable reporting to leadership. The position centers on modeling, variance analysis, and board-ready disclosures to enable data-driven decisions. This is a hands-on, fast-paced in-office role that contributes to AIR's growth and financial integrity. You will be at the core of financial planning and performance storytelling for a large multifamily housing portfolio.

Responsibilities- Provide high-quality reporting with actionable insights
- Support analytics across business groups
- Diagnose complex situations and assist with solutions
- Contribute to annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Perform data modeling to support strategic decision-making
- Support monthly/quarterly variance analysis versus budget/forecast
- Produce monthly senior management reporting on performance
- Assist with accounting and financial reporting for quarterly earnings and regulatory filings
- Participate in quarterly board reporting to directors and shareholders
Key requirements- 2-4 years of financial analysis experience (preferred)
- Collaborative self-starter in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills including multi-year forecasting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Strong financial writing and experience presenting to senior leaders (desirable)
- Hyperion PBCS, VBA, SQL, and Power BI are useful but not required
