Overview In this role you will administer and optimize Hexagon Smart P&ID environments to ensure reliable project execution and high data quality. You will lead project setup, governance, and standards across multi-discipline teams, coordinating integrations with related Hexagon platforms. You'll drive continuous improvement through standardization, training, and documentation. This position offers hands-on work across projects, technologies, and engineering domains in a global, employee-owned company.

Responsibilities- Administer Hexagon Smart P&ID environments including access, configuration, backups, and data quality reviews
- Configure project-specific settings such as report templates, naming conventions, and data dictionaries
- Lead project lifecycle administration with governance and standardization
- Define and enforce SPID workflows, reference data, schemas, and metadata practices
- Support integrations between Smart P&ID and related platforms (SmartPlant Foundation, Smart 3D, Smart Instrumentation, Smart Electrical)
- Develop reports, data extracts, migrations, validations, and audits for project execution
- Coordinate software installs, upgrades, testing, and documentation
- Drive continuous improvement via usability enhancements and automation
- Develop training materials and provide user/admin documentation and support
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field OR 8+ years of relevant experience
- 8+ years administering Hexagon Smart P&ID in multi-discipline environments
- Experience with Workshare functionality of Smart P&ID
- Knowledge of engineering design workflows and downstream systems
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle for queries and data validation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and escalation skills
