Overview In this contract-to-hire role, you will manage revenue recognition, journal entries, and support month-end close to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting. You will partner with Sales, Operations, Billing, and Finance to analyze complex revenue streams and resolve issues affecting financial accuracy. The role emphasizes process efficiency, audits support, and involvement in system enhancements or special projects. Responsibilities- Prepare and record revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze customer contracts and revenue transactions for proper recognition
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Reconcile revenue accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare revenue reporting schedules and supporting documentation
- Monitor deferred revenue balances and related activities
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Billing, and Finance to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company revenue recognition policies
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and revenue trend analysis
- Support audits by providing requested schedules and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue accounting processes
- Participate in system implementations, process enhancements, and special projects
