Overview

In this role you lead maintenance operations for the plant, directing equipment upkeep and resource planning to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production. You will drive continuous improvement through Six Sigma ALPS projects or Kaizen events, while aligning maintenance activities with safety and integrity standards. You work closely with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to optimize budgets and asset reliability. Responsibilities
  • Oversee maintenance tasks and direct internal and external technicians
  • Implement maintenance processes using work orders, SAP PM, and KPI reporting
  • Develop preventive maintenance programs and ensure adherence
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (PSM/ SAQ/ IRS/ HSE/ BBS) and drive zero-accident goals
  • Supervise suppliers/contractors and approve special work permits
  • Identify critical equipment and ensure asset integrity
  • Coordinate investments and budgeting for maintenance activities
  • Collaborate on contracts and external maintenance with service providers
  • Train and motivate staff; uphold company ethics and conduct
  • Communicate changes to reporting lines in a timely manner
Key requirements
  • Engineering degree
  • 3-5 years maintenance or engineering experience in an industrial setting
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP-PM
  • Experience planning and managing preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Industrial maintenance knowledge in pneumatics/electricity hydraulics and PLC
  • Strong communication, analytical, initiative, decision-making and leadership skills
