Director of Human Resources

As Human Resources Director, you lead the HR function for 200+ employees, shaping people strategies across two companies. You'll drive recruitment, benefits, employee relations, policy development and compliance, reporting to the CAO/COO/CEO. You'll oversee a four-member HR team and partner with leadership to address legal inquiries and evolving employment practices. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic people initiatives in a values-driven firm.

• Oversee HR department for 200+ employees
• Supervise HR team of four people
• Manage recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, training, policy development, and compliance
• Communicate with state and federal agencies on behalf of the company
• Coordinate responses to legal inquiries (EEOC, EDD, SDI)
• Monitor changes in employment practices across the states
• Oversee HR matters for two companies

• 7+ years of experience as an HR Director
• Bachelor's degree
• SHRM or PHR certifications are helpful but not required
