Overview In this role you will manage the Deloitte Global Finance accounting department, overseeing the general ledger, month/quarter/year-end closes, and coordination of audits. You will partner with business leads to ensure policy compliance and drive strategic financial insights. You'll help streamline processes, enhance internal controls, and support budgeting, forecasting, and analytics in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Responsibilities- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and variance analysis
- Coordinate financial statement preparation and audits
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal policies
- Assist in setting up financial systems and metrics for status measurement
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Maintain and review internal controls documentation
- Streamline department processes for productivity and accuracy
- Support year-end external audits
- Participate in global finance initiatives and ad-hoc cross-firm projects
- Develop team via knowledge sharing and training initiatives
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- Strong relationship-building and leadership capabilities
- Ability to present ideas to senior executives
- Excellent analytical and attention to detail skills
- CPA preferred
- Proven project management and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with accounting cycles (treasury, AP, AR, GL)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with external auditors preferred
- International experience preferred
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SAP proficiency
