Overview In this role you will define target-state architectures and drive cloud, data, and AI-enabled modernization across Cash Management, Collateral Management, DSS, and Portfolio Master platforms. You will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to align technology with business objectives while improving transparency, controls, and operational efficiency. You will lead architecture governance, establish standards, and guide modern platform engineering to scale secure solutions. This is a high-impact, strategic role at a financially focused, collaborative organization. You will help shape how MFS manages critical investment data and operations at scale.

Responsibilities- Define and maintain target-state architecture and technology roadmap for Cash Management, Collateral Management, DSS, and Portfolio Master platforms
- Partner with business leadership to align technology investments with strategic objectives
- Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and integration frameworks across domains
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance capabilities and efficiency
- Drive enterprise cloud adoption using Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and platform engineering practices
- Modernize applications, containerize, and migrate to cloud-native/hybrid environments
- Define enterprise CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, resilience patterns
- Create reference architectures and reusable frameworks to accelerate delivery
- Provide architectural guidance and mentor engineers across delivery teams
- Contribute to enterprise architecture councils and governance forums
Key requirements- Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture experience
- Significant experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Financial Services
- Experience architecting enterprise-scale systems for investment operations, portfolio management, cash management, collateral management, or investment data platforms
- Deep expertise in cloud-native, distributed, and event-driven architectures
- Strong experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers, and platform engineering
- Experience defining enterprise modernization and cloud migration strategies
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, messaging, and service-oriented architectures
- Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, and cloud-native data services
- Experience with Microsoft AI technologies including Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, resilience
