Overview In this role you support accounting, administration and investor servicing for hedge funds, private equity funds, and closed-end products. You act as primary fund accountant across multiple relationships, ensuring GAAP-compliant accounting and timely financial reporting. You record trades, allocate profits, and prepare investor statements and financial schedules. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate NAV, performance data and tax-related inputs. This position offers hands-on impact in a dynamic, investment-focused environment.

Responsibilities- Act as primary fund accountant for multiple relationships, ensuring GAAP-compliant fund accounting
- Record trade information, income/expense activity and apply security valuations in the portfolio system
- Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in the partnership accounting system
- Allocate fund-level profits to investors for statements and distributions
- Review fund expense analyses and process expenses
- Prepare fund financial statements, audits and tax schedules
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of related experience in portfolio/partnership accounting, finance or portfolio management
- Strong accounting, reporting and analysis knowledge
- Ability to identify, resolve or escalate complex problems with minimal guidance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with relevant accounting systems
