Responsibilities- Lead a global, cross-functional team to develop and execute a cohesive semiconductor category strategy and supplier base alignment
- Negotiate with suppliers within a strategic contract framework, managing NDAs and supplier agreements
- Manage supplier relationships including performance, capability development, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, cost and quality improvements
- Identify cost savings through negotiations, events, and alternate sourcing to achieve cost reduction goals
- Maintain and optimize the Preferred Manufacturer List to ensure suitable manufacturing capability and scalability
- Monitor market conditions to identify supply challenges and develop a continuity plan
- Head the Strategic Component Team to drive projects improving cost, quality, and delivery, including supplier footprint expansion, roadmap alignment, and design-for-manufacturability guidance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Excellent contract negotiation skills and understanding of commercial terms
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities with experience engaging executives
- Team player who is mature, self-motivated and demonstrates integrity
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience managing complex strategic sourcing projects
- Direct experience as a Procurement category manager for semiconductors is preferred
- 5+ years of procurement or related experience is preferred
- 3+ years of procurement or similar experience (basic requirement)
