Overview In this role, you will lead clinical research activities for cardiovascular and respiratory medicines across all development stages. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute trials, oversee safety and efficacy analyses, and drive regulatory and publication activities. You'll engage with external investigators and internal stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and advance our drugs. This position offers influence over development strategy and scientific leadership in a global research environment.

Responsibilities- Plan and design clinical trials aligned with development strategy
- Provide medical oversight and conduct of ongoing/new trials for investigational or marketed drugs
- Analyze clinical findings to support safety/efficacy decisions, regulatory submissions, and publications
- Participate in internal and external research project teams; support business development assessments
- Engage with cross-functional teams (regulatory affairs, statistics, manufacturing, commercialization) to manage projects
- Author development documents, presentations, budgets, and position papers
- Foster collaborations with external researchers and maintain communications with investigators
- Travel 20% to manage clinical research projects
- Maintain up-to-date scientific knowledge in area of expertise
- Inform colleagues about study progress and industry developments
Key requirements- Experience in industry or senior academia
- Minimum 3 years of clinical medicine experience
- Minimum 1 year of industry drug development or biomedical research experience in academia
- Demonstrated record of scientific scholarship and achievement
- Proven track record in clinical medicine and biomedical research
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
