Overview In this role you oversee road and infrastructure construction projects, guiding a team to safely and accurately implement works on site. You'll manage interfaces with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, tracking progress, safety, budget, and quality while ensuring compliance with contracts and permits. You'll lead site inspectors and office staff, report on key metrics, and promote safe, high-quality construction. This is a hands-on leadership role that shapes transportation outcomes in Oklahoma.

Responsibilities- Oversee construction processes on site to meet contract and permit requirements
- Lead and mentor a project team including inspectors and office engineers
- Interface daily with client teams, stakeholders, and contractors
- Monitor progress, safety, quality, and costs; report on changes in scope or schedule
- Support relationship-building with clients and project staff; ensure safe construction practices
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience as Resident Engineer, Project Manager, or Construction Manager
- Proven experience on large transportation projects in Oklahoma
- Strong knowledge of contract management, project delivery methods, and team development
- Valid driver's license and good driving history
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oklahoma (preferred)
- ODOT/OTA experience and knowledge of AASHTOWare Project (AWP) (preferred)
