Responsibilities- Propose and drive a R&D agenda for quantum information and computation with a focus on finance and payments
- Design and validate novel quantum algorithms and models to advance state-of-the-art
- Mentor, coach, and develop the research team
- Publish findings in top conferences and journals
- Influence business partners by explaining results and aligning with roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore quantum computing applications across domains
- Stay updated on breakthroughs and foster relationships within the quantum research community
Key requirements- 5 years of relevant experience and Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, engineering, physics or equivalent field
- Preferred: 6 years of relevant experience and Ph.D. in same fields
- 5+ years of postdoctoral research in quantum computing or related domains
- Internationally recognized research track record with high-impact publications and contributions
- Proven leadership in guiding large-scale, multi-institution programs
- Deep expertise designing quantum computing solutions for financial or related applications
- Proficiency in quantum programming environments (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq)
- Hands-on experience deploying and validating algorithms on quantum hardware
- Demonstrated excellence in mentoring scientists at varying career stages
