Responsibilities- Perform complex clinical laboratory tests following policies and procedures
- Oversee reagent/media preparation, stock solutions, and control materials
- Enter results accurately and monitor reporting quality
- Maintain instrument performance through calibration, quality control, and preventive maintenance
- Evaluate specimen acceptability and analyze testing results
- Assist supervisor with workload planning and technical guidance
- Participate in staff training, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support method evaluations, procedure updates, and productivity measures
Key requirements- Bachelor in Medical Technology or other life or physical sciences
- Current State Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (e.g., California)
- Minimum 6 months direct lab experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle lifting within stated ranges
- Good eye-hand coordination and color vision as required for tests
