Responsibilities- Set and drive daily and long-term editorial direction for assigned programs
- Lead development and evolution of program formats to ensure engagement and editorial strength
- Collaborate with hosts on content while retaining final editorial authority
- Make final calls on story selection and framing across programs
- Provide final editorial approval on scripts and segments
- Vet guests/contributors for credibility and risk, and brief on editorial standards
- Sign-off on all digital content and ensure accuracy per codes and conduct
- Oversee daily production, budgeting, and long-term scheduling
- Lead, mentor, and develop production and editorial staff
- Align output with platform KPIs and monitor performance for decisions
- Support breaking news coverage with decisive editorial direction
- Maintain production workflows and ensure high-quality delivery
- Escalate editorial risks to senior leadership as needed
- Ensure legal and factual accuracy and proper attribution across content
- Manage staffing, rostering, and resource planning to support the team
