Overview

As Pre-Construction Manager you will guide feasibility assessments, cost estimates, and procurement plans for large-scale renewable projects. You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, and the estimating team to shape budgets and schedules, while leading risk review and GMP discussions with clients. This role sits at the intersection of design and execution, ensuring value-driven strategies from early planning to procurement. You will work across a global energy team, contributing to sustainable, turnkey EPC delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Review project plans and site constraints to assess feasibility and value
  • Produce conceptual estimates and support budgets with the estimating team
  • Develop procurement, risk, and project management plans
  • Coordinate with design professionals to refine project plans
  • Identify and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Create schedules and timelines for project completion
  • Review and negotiate client contracts; manage subcontractor bidding
  • Provide project progress updates to clients and team
  • Identify risks during preconstruction and inform senior management
  • Lead the preconstruction strategy meeting and GMP development
  • Supervise supporting staff during the preconstruction phase
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or related
  • 4 years' experience in cost estimating, scheduling, and risk management for large-scale projects
  • Experience with EPC delivery models, procurement strategies, and contract negotiations
  • Estimating software proficiency; scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project); project management platforms
  • Experience coordinating with design teams and stakeholders
