Overview In this role you will advance state-of-the-art research to improve advertising performance on Roku's platform. You'll work with cross-functional teams to translate research into scalable ML systems that optimize attribution, calibration, creative generation, and testing. You'll stay at the forefront of DL methods and experiment-driven optimization to impact yield, margins, and advertiser outcomes. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a fast-growing, mission-focused company.

Responsibilities- Apply and conduct research to develop state-of-the-art deep learning models for advertising
- Build generative models to optimize image/video ad performance
- Advance ongoing ML/AI initiatives and stay current with related advancements
- Contribute to attribution methodologies, calibration, forecasting, and experimentation (A/B/multivariate)
- Support cross-functional teams in integrating research into production systems
Key requirements- PhD in a quantitative discipline (CS, Statistics, Applied Math or related)
- 8+ years of applied research experience in statistics and deep learning
- Published papers on deep learning for advertising or related fields
