Overview In this role you support asset management for a multifamily portfolio, guiding strategies from development through stabilization and disposition. You will analyze performance, retrieve and synthesize data, and communicate insights to cross-functional teams. You'll help develop property strategies, monitor leasing metrics, and assist with budgets, capital plans, and valuations. The position blends analytical rigor with stakeholder collaboration to optimize property performance and portfolio outcomes.

Responsibilities- Analyze property and portfolio performance and provide actionable insights to Asset Managers and Portfolio Management
- Develop property strategies and measure/drive performance improvements
- Prepare quarterly and annual property reports and business plans
- Monitor weekly leasing KPIs and coordinate with property management to boost performance
- Evaluate operations and capital program strategies
- Review operating budgets and assist in annual business plan preparation
- Support approval of capital expenditures within plan parameters
- Conduct quarterly internal valuations and support third-party appraisals
- Participate in leasing calls/meetings and maintain relationships with management and brokers
- Prepare hold/sell analyses and assist in marketing/closing processes
- Perform asset management due diligence during asset takeover (lease reviews, pro forma, market feasibility)
- Assist with acquisition, development, and disposition transactions
- Monitor monthly property financials and maintain portfolio models and valuation files
- Assist with portfolio/client reporting and ad-hoc projects
- Up to 25% time on transactions, portfolio management, or research tasks
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in real estate or finance
- 2 years postgraduate experience in senior analyst role
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills; Excel/Word/PowerPoint proficiency required; Argus Enterprise strongly preferred
- Ability to complete detailed analyses and provide decisive recommendations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Professional interface across acquisitions, asset management, finance, portfolio management, marketing and research, plus third parties
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Prior multifamily experience is a plus
