Overview

In this role you will enable GMP-compliant analytical testing and technology transfer for QC activities within Pharmaron's integrated drug development services. You will lead method transfer, verification and validation, while guiding QC scientists and ensuring data integrity. You'll troubleshoot analytical issues, support audits, and contribute to cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality cGMP standards. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at a global CRO/CDMO with exposure to diverse modalities and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in method transfer activities including protocols, experiments, and reports
  • Supervise QC scientists and provide technical/compliance guidance
  • Review data, notebooks, methods, and reports
  • Lead investigations and write investigation reports
  • Coordinate QC testing, data review, and note keeping
  • Present data summaries to cross-functional teams and communicate QC issues
  • Work effectively in team/matrix or independent settings
  • Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation and safety/environmental practices
  • Write, revise, and evaluate SOPs
  • Support site audits as needed
  • SME for instrument training
Key requirements
  • MS with 8+ years or BS with 10 years in pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven analytical problem-solving and method optimization/implementation
  • Strong troubleshooting of technical problems
  • 6 years of experience with HPLC, GC, FTIR, Mass Spectrometry
  • Experience contributing to multidisciplinary scientific teams
  • Working knowledge of cGLP/cGMP and FDA/EMA/ICH guidance
  • Proven ability to supervise staff
  • Expert application of core techniques to API, intermediates, starting materials
