Site Manager - Power (Nationwide)

Overview

In this role you will oversee day-to-day on-site administrative and technical management for power generation construction projects. You will lead field teams, subcontractors, and interfaces with clients to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while aligning with project controls and commissioning activities. You drive site execution, enforce procedures, and foster strong client and subcontractor relationships. This position offers impact through effective on-site leadership and coordination across disciplines to deliver projects safely and to spec.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on-site discipline supervision and coordination of scheduling, engineering, cost control, material control, andadministrative staff
  • Ensure safety and compliance with Safety and Health Plans; audit PTAs and TSOs
  • Direct construction activities to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, material usage, and procurement processes
  • Maintain client relations and interface with authorities and other contractors
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables with Engineering Manager and Discipline Engineers
  • Develop and implement Project Execution Plans and site procedures
  • Authorize field procurements and review subcontractor progress payments
  • Provide technical interpretation of drawings and construction methods
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and field reports
  • Assess upcoming work using 3-week look-ahead and overall project schedule
  • Oversee field progress tracking, forecasting, and critical path scheduling
  • Coordinate startup and commissioning readiness and turnover to clients
  • Maintain Quality Management System compliance and craft staffing
  • Read/interpret isometrics, P&IDs, and civil/structural/electrical drawings
  • Operate within company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus significant construction management experience on similar projects OR
  • Associate degree with substantial construction management experience
  • High School Diploma/GED with extensive construction management experience
  • Strong understanding of all construction disciplines
  • Excellent communication and supervisory skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with power generation projects preferred
