Overview

As a Healthcare Professional Services Consultant, you drive successful Workday HR deployments for healthcare customers. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture requirements, configure systems, and validate data and tests, championing best practices. You'll mentor peers, lead knowledge sharing, and keep stakeholders aligned on project health. This role offers meaningful impact by shaping healthcare implementations at scale within a culture focused on integrity, collaboration, and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead expert for Payroll product suites and mentor ramping consultants
  • Provide healthcare industry perspective to ensure leading practices and reflect industry trends
  • Apply Workday Implementation Methodology across engagements
  • Participate in ongoing training to expand product knowledge with new releases
  • Attend and lead events, mentoring and coaching peers
  • Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to Engagement Managers across projects
  • Share knowledge with consultants and the wider partner ecosystem
Key requirements
  • 4+ years hands-on functional experience with Payroll systems
  • 4+ years of implementation consulting experience
  • Significant healthcare industry experience (hospitals or direct patient care)
  • 7+ years (for Principal) hands-on Payroll and implementation experience
  • Strong business consulting and market awareness
  • Proven requirements gathering, solution design, data conversion, and testing experience
  • Ability to learn new technology and develop product knowledge
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to customer sites
