Overview In this role you will underwrite commercial lines for our carrier, supporting policyholders and agency partners to drive profitable growth. You will work within the underwriting team to ensure service standards and policy adherence, balancing risk with business objectives. You will review cases beyond authority with the Regional Underwriting Manager to decide on the best course of action. This position focuses on meeting regional production and loss ratio goals and shaping outcomes for the territory.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with agency partners to deliver professional service and achieve optimal policyholder outcomes
- Cultivate relationships with Agents and internal staff to support growth and service standards
- Ensure adherence to corporate underwriting policy and service standards, in coordination with the underwriting assistant
- Review accounts beyond individual authority with Regional Underwriting Manager or Supervisor and recommend action
- Work toward achieving commercial lines regional production goals and favorable loss ratio objectives for the assigned territory
Key requirements- CPCU with 3+ years of commercial lines underwriting
- Microsoft Office knowledge
