Senior Manager, Global Revenue Technical Accounting

Overview

In this role you will perform revenue recognition evaluations under ASC 606 for new product launches, contracts, and reimbursement agreements. You will collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to document policies, support financial reporting, and prepare disclosures for SEC filings. You'll work with accounting, finance, and commercial groups to ensure consistent technical conclusions and accurate revenue memos and audit support. This position offers meaningful impact through shaping revenue approaches for a growth-focused biotech leader.

Responsibilities
  • Perform revenue recognition evaluations under ASC 606 for new product launches, new contracts, and reimbursement agreements
  • Review new agreements and complex gross-to-net matters and ensure consistent accounting conclusions by local teams
  • Document revenue-related policies with international and North America teams
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on contract drafting processes
  • Collaborate with global accounting, finance, and commercial groups to support revenue reporting requirements
  • Work with the SEC Reporting team to prepare revenue disclosures for filings
  • Support quarterly and annual reviews and audits with memos, schedules, and audit requests
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Typically 7 years of progressive accounting experience in pharmaceutical or life science revenue accounting or a technical accounting role
  • Public accounting experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written communication and memo drafting skills
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational levels and present complex analyses to senior management
