Overview In this role you oversee the delivery of large datacenter construction projects within Colliers Project Leaders' Owner's Rep group. You will coordinate with design managers, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding quality standards. You'll help shape the built environment for major private and public clients across multiple locations. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that combines leadership, technical insight, and client-facing collaboration to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities- Oversee large-scale construction projects including site development, ground-up builds, data center buildouts, and tenant fit-outs
- Manage base building and tenant MEP systems design and implementation
- Establish and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, equipment vendors, and consultants
- Review budgeting, scheduling, and quality deliverables to meet budgeted targets
- Serve as construction SME when evaluating customer leases and ongoing projects
- Lead budget and schedule reviews with the construction team
- Discuss objectives, requirements, and budgets with clients, design staff, and senior leadership
- Create and maintain project budgets and site schedules across multiple design/construction stages
- Evaluate the impact of specific customer requirements on projects
- Provide oversight on ongoing projects and escalate issues as needed
- Conduct or delegate job-site observations to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines
- Participate in reviews with consultants and government agencies to coordinate entitlements for permits and approvals
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of project management experience
- 2+ years of data center construction experience
- General Contracting, Construction Management, Equipment Vendor or Architecture experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls
- Working knowledge of MEP systems and data center operations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities
