Overview In this role you will lead mechanical construction projects from planning to completion, coordinating field work and project teams. You will oversee multiple sites, develop schedules, manage resources, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will collaborate with project stakeholders and senior leadership to drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement. Responsibilities- Develop and manage project schedules and task assignments
- Oversee field execution and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
- Mentor and develop direct reports; drive performance conversations
- Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, and vendors; ensure alignment across teams
- Verify accuracy of BIM drawings, specifications, and field coordination
- Promote safety, identify hazards, and implement risk controls
- Apply Lean and QA/QC principles to improve workflows and reduce bottlenecks
- Understand project budgets, provide man-hour estimates, and support scope changes
- Facilitate pre-job and planning meetings; manage contract terms and schedules
- Identify prefabrication opportunities and manage related logistics
- Monitor progress, resolve interface issues, and communicate potential interferences to leadership
- Maintain liaison with Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering to support schedules
- Review contract documents and clarify requirements when needed
Key requirements- 7+ years of experience in construction supervision
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methods
- Expert understanding of building products, codes, standards
- Ability to read blueprints, BIM drawings, submittals, and specifications
- Strong leadership, time management, and conflict/crisis management skills
- Licenses/certifications relevant to the trade; Construction Superintendent certification preferred
