Overview In this role you guide the finance function to uphold GAAP, regulatory compliance, and strong financial stewardship. You partner with operations and executives to drive continuous improvement, monitor performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities. You'll lead financial reporting, budgeting, and audits, shaping how the manufacturing business plans and performs. Responsibilities- Oversee accounting and financial reporting in line with GAAP
- Lead month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets, capital documentation, and asset acquisitions (AFE)
- Prepare budgeting projections and communicate financial position and trends
- Drive operational improvements with management, tracking cost savings and process changes
- Ensure SOX-compliant documentation and controls
- Lead weekly/monthly performance reviews using key metrics and forecasts
- Own inventory processes, including cycle counts, negative inventory, and E&O
- Coordinate internal/external audits and ensure data integrity
- Coach leaders to understand financial and performance metrics
- Stay compliant with regulatory requirements and manage tax reporting conversations
- Contribute to the consolidated finance team and broader company goals

Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent; CPA or CMA preferred
- 5+ years in progressive manufacturing accounting in a standard costing environment
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities to guide teams
- Experience with ERP systems and PC proficiency, especially Microsoft Office
- Ability to collaborate across levels, manage deadlines, and handle confidential information
- Knowledge of SOX requirements and regulatory reporting
