Overview In this role you will become an industry expert within Equity Research, focusing on Homebuilding & Building Products. You will develop forward-looking financial models, valuations, and sector views, while communicating insights to internal and external clients. You will produce research notes, sector pieces, and management discussions, partnering with Sales & Trading to support client coverage. This role blends rigorous financial analysis with clear, persuasive writing and relationship-building to inform investment decisions.

Responsibilities- Build and maintain Excel-based financial models to forecast company financials and industry dynamics
- Perform detailed valuation work to support stock recommendations
- Analyze complex data sets, earnings releases, regulatory filings, news events to shape industry and company views
- Write research notes and sector reports and prepare client presentations
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external clients, industry experts, and management teams
- Fulfill client requests in a timely and thorough manner
- Generate ideas for differentiated research product through intellectual curiosity

- Two to three years of equity research and/or investment banking experience
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team and work independently
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for the markets and Homebuilding & Building Products sector
- Some coding capabilities (preferred) - e.g., VBA, Python
- CFA charterholder or progress towards CFA (preferred)
