Overview

As HDR's Building Engineering Services Project Delivery Leader, you drive project management excellence for multi discipline facility projects in North Texas. You lead PM practices, mentor staff, and ensure quality and profitability across projects. You'll collaborate with BG leadership to advance skills, standards, and delivery methods while supporting recruitment and retention. This role blends leadership with hands-on PM to shape high impact building projects and HDR's engineering culture.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and develop project management skills and best practices across BES staff
  • Provide PM team organization and leadership for projects within the BG
  • Oversee QC activities and assign experienced reviewers
  • Lead continuous improvement of PM practices, standards, and lessons learned
  • Lead QA/QC program activities and drive quality improvements
  • Collaborate with BG operations, market leadership, business classes, and Professional Services Leaders
  • Perform delegated MOA responsibilities from BGM
  • Streamline business processes with the Area policy and MOA
  • Assist daily operations including project oversight, reviews, and profitability at the project level
  • Develop and implement standard project delivery practices and approaches
  • Participate in project reviews, 0% reviews, PARRs, and support claims management
  • Track financials and adjust work effort to meet budget and schedule
  • Perform other duties as needed
Key requirements
  • 10 years of experience in developing, managing, and leading multi discipline project delivery teams
  • History of delivering high quality, profitable facility projects
  • Extensive knowledge of systems and PM tools for project management and delivery
  • Wide experience delivering facility projects across market sectors
  • Demonstrated leadership of diverse teams
  • Commitment to quality and HDR values
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and PM software
  • Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal) skills
