Overview As Senior Manager, Accounting, you will oversee the full-cycle accounting process, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and coordinate with external auditors. Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day full-cycle accounting in collaboration with Accounting Managers
- Direct preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for internal and external use
- Ensure regulatory compliance, internal controls, and GAAP reporting guidelines
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes
- Establish and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Oversee payroll accounting support and related processes
- Calculate and file transactional taxes; collaborate on federal tax planning
- Lead cross-functional teams on nonstandard product sales, contracting, and vendor agreements
- Provide impactful financial guidance to leaders on business activities and decisions
Key requirements- CPA certification required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered
- 7+ years of corporate accounting experience
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills across levels and departments
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills for management presentations
