Overview Senior technical leader owning the end-to-end tech lifecycle of global transactions in the M&A program. You will drive pre-close due diligence and post-close integration or carve-out activities, aligning target architectures with TransUnion standards. The role combines enterprise architecture depth with financial acumen to shape deal value, risk, and rapid execution. You'll partner with Corporate Development, Business Development, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions at scale. Responsibilities- Lead technical due diligence to assess target infrastructure, apps, data, code quality, and risks
- Define target state architecture aligning with enterprise architecture and InfoSec standards
- Build data-driven technology cost models (CapEx/OpEx) for diligence and migration readiness
- Collaborate with Corporate Development and Business Development to feed tech risks and synergy into deal valuation
- Design and execute post-close integration roadmaps from Day 1 to full target-state operations
- Govern TSAs for divestitures and track milestones to enable rapid exits and avoid stranded costs
- Consolidate cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), legacy data centers, and back-office systems
- Manage post-close integration budgets and report variances to executives
- Serve as executive escalation point to unblock engineering teams and align cross-functional streams
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years in enterprise architecture, engineering leadership, or technical consulting with at least 2 years in global M&A
- Experience leading transactions from pre-diligence through post-close integration or carve-out separation
- Direct TSA governance experience: creating, negotiating, tracking, and exiting TSAs
- Deep architectural expertise in cloud-native architectures, EAI, software engineering SDLC, data engineering/analytics, and cybersecurity frameworks
