Overview

In this Senior AP role, you will own end-to-end AP in NetSuite and lead AI-powered automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy. You'll ensure SOX compliance, manage cross-functional projects, and resolve complex vendor issues as Aurora scales its financial operations. You will partner with Finance and IT to optimize processes and reporting while supporting leadership with timely insights. This is a high-impact, growth-focused role in a fast-moving technology company.

Responsibilities
  • NetSuite Processing & Reporting: manage vendor records, payment runs, period-close; build saved searches, reports, dashboards for AP visibility
  • Lead AI automation: pilot and implement OCR-based capture, AI-assisted coding, and workflow automation to reduce manual work and errors; track automation KPIs
  • SOX & Audit Compliance: own AP controls, prepare evidence for audits, monitor control environment and remediation
  • Project Management: lead or support ERP enhancements, automation implementations, policy updates, and shared services transitions; manage scope, timelines, risks
  • Vendor Issue Resolution: act as escalation point for disputes, discrepancies, and reconciliations; maintain relationships with strategic vendors
Key requirements
  • 6+ years of progressive accounts payable experience (2+ years in a senior/lead role)
  • Hands-on NetSuite expertise (bill entry, vendor management, saved searches, reporting, period-close)
  • Direct SOX compliance experience in AP, including control ownership and audit support
  • Experience implementing or managing AP automation tools (OCR, workflow automation, AI-assisted processing)
  • Strong project management with ability to drive multiple cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets
