Overview

As Construction Manager, you oversee safe, on-budget and on-schedule project delivery to our quality standards and client satisfaction. You act as the project's management representative, guiding planning, procurement, and field execution while aligning with company policies. You lead a cross-functional team, uphold safety and quality, and drive project outcomes. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a growth-focused, employee-owned culture that values initiative and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Integrate safety into planning and execution, enforcing policies and promoting accountability
  • Lead pre-job planning, mobilization, and procurement activities
  • Oversee scheduling and ensure timely submittal processing
  • Maintain open, proactive communication with clients and architects/engineers
  • Verify submittals and manage vendor/subcontractor expediting
  • Manage progress payments and change orders
  • Analyze costs and schedules, proposing corrective actions
  • Establish and enforce the Quality Control Plan and participate in buyout/pre-mobilization
  • Implement commissioning processes for fully functional buildings
  • Recruit, develop, and retain project personnel; stay current with industry practices
  • Collaborate with regional leadership and project teams as needed
Key requirements
  • Ten years' experience in Construction
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to function in a high-performance team
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, facilities operations, and building systems
  • Familiarity with strategic planning
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a mobile environment
  • Software proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint) and Adobe Suite, plus report writing
