Overview

In this role you drive the end-to-end operations of Siemens sites, blending facilities management with workplace design and industrial engineering. You lead on-site operations across office, R&D, and manufacturing spaces, while guiding design initiatives to improve usability, efficiency, and employee experience. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on project delivery in a global real estate portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-performing, human-centered workplaces that scale with business needs. Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day property operations for a diverse portfolio of office, R&D, and manufacturing sites
  • Manage vendor performance, maintenance programs, building services, and workplace amenities
  • Ensure facilities meet safety, compliance, sustainability, and operational standards
  • Advise site leadership and stakeholders on facilities and service delivery
  • Lead workplace design initiatives to enhance employee experience and collaboration
  • Apply industrial and human-centered design to align spaces with hybrid work and lean manufacturing
  • Evaluate ergonomics and workflows to improve efficiency and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with architects and planners on innovation centers and shop-floor modernization
  • Analyze occupancy, workflows, and requirements to optimize layouts and space utilization
  • Lead multiple projects from concept to implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Manage site budgets, CAPEX forecasting, and contract performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce occupancy costs
Key requirements
  • 7-10+ years in property management, facilities operations, or operational leadership
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of facilities management, workplace service delivery, and site operations
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and contract management experience
  • Experience with CAD, BIM, AutoCAD or similar planning tools
  • Technical understanding of building systems and smart building technologies
  • Professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, PMP, or LEED/WELL (preferred)
